Key Responsibilities for Foremen, General Foremen, and Supervisors:
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage teams of workers, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Project Coordination: Oversee daily operations of construction projects, ensuring the quality of work and that all tasks align with project timelines and specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations, including lockout/tagout and other job-specific safety measures.
- Training & Development: Mentor and guide team members, providing training opportunities to grow their skills and advance in their careers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, contractors, and engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed according to design specifications and adheres to relevant codes and standards.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the course of a project, ensuring minimal delays and maintaining project flow.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project progress, employee performance, and safety compliance.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Proven experience in electrical construction, particularly in leadership roles.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and electrical construction standards.
- Ability to manage and motivate teams while maintaining a high standard of work quality.
